Stephen Rochester FCA(Senior Partner): Stephen founded Rochesters in 1984. He originally trained and qualified with KPMG before setting up his own business. He is heavily involved with the provision of advice on accounting and taxation matters drawing from his wide range of experience in these fields. He specialises in providing clients with a 'hands-on' service throughout the year, and has experience in all areas of management consultancy, corporate finance and receivership work. He prides himself on knowing all clients and having a deep understanding as to how all their businesses work.

Peter Hewston FCA(Partner): Peter is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 15 years post qualification experience. He controls the audit and accounts process, ensuring that all matters are dealt with through to the finalisation of the financial statements. Having worked at both independent and Big Four firms, Peter has a broad experience of clients from sole trader to multinational Plc. Prior to joining Rochesters he was the technical manager having national responsibility for a Top 20 accountancy practice. Peter, however, fails to follow the advice he gives to others and for the past 25 years he has consistently thrown away money on trying to find entertainment with a Stoke City season ticket! 

Roger Bowen:  Roger is our Corporate Tax manager. In addition to dealing with Corporate Tax and VAT, he has a detailed knowledge and experience of personal tax and related areas.  As well as checking and preparing your tax calculations, he will ensure that all available reliefs and allowances are being used efficiently.  He will also deal with any queries from HMRC relating to your tax affairs. Roger deals with adhoc planning and related projects to minimise tax liabilities for both individual  taxpayers and businesses.

Jacqui Bolstridge(Payroll ): Jacqui has many years experience in dealing with payroll - both in practice and within industry - and guides clients through the maze of legislation that surrounds this area.

These individuals are supported by a strong and knowledgeable team of accounts and audit staff, who will often be your day-to-day contact. There is a wealth of experience in our team and this leads to a focussed service being provided to all clients.
